Privacy Policy
Last updated October 14, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Musing — operated by Software Object Pte. Ltd. (“Musing”, “we”, or “us”) — collects through the website, dashboard, CLI, voice device, and related services (together, the “Service”), how we use it, and the choices you have. Musing is built privacy-first: your coding agents run on your own machine under your own credentials, and we never see or store your model-provider keys.
2. Information we collect
Account information. When you sign in with Google or with an email code, we receive your name, email address, and the basic profile information needed to create and secure your account.
Voice input and transcriptions. When you use voice input in the desktop app, voice device, iOS Shortcut, or browser dashboard, we process the audio and store its text transcription so the task can be enriched and dispatched to your agents.
Tasks and content. The tasks, prompts, and related metadata you create, along with the lifecycle and status of each task as it runs.
Device and connectivity data. If you use Musing Relayer, we collect device identifiers (such as the SIM ICCID), connection check-ins, and basic telemetry needed to keep the device online over its cellular connection.
Connected integrations. If you connect a GitHub workspace, we store the connection and the repositories you authorize so tasks can run against them.
Technical and usage data. Session identifiers, IP address, device and browser information, and logs we use to operate and secure the Service.
3. What we do not collect or do
Musing does not own, request, or store your AI model-provider credentials, and does not proxy or read your model calls — your agent tools run under your own authentication on your own machine. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use Your Content to train AI models.
4. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to operate, maintain, and secure the Service; to transcribe voice input and enrich and route your tasks to your local daemon; to authenticate you and prevent abuse; to provide support and respond to your requests; to process reservations and payments; and to communicate with you about the Service.
5. Where processing happens
Musing stores your account, tasks, transcriptions, and runtime liveness on our servers. The actual execution of your coding agents happens on your own machine through the Musing daemon — we do not run your agents or your models for you.
6. Service providers we share with
We share limited information with vendors that help us run the Service, under contracts that limit their use of it. These include an authentication provider (Google) for sign-in, a payment processor (Stripe) for device reservations and any paid plan, a speech-to-text provider to transcribe voice input, a cellular-connectivity provider for the hardware device, and hosting and infrastructure providers. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect rights and safety. We do not sell your personal information.
7. Cookies and sessions
We use a strictly necessary session cookie to keep you signed in; it maps to a database-stored session that you can revoke by signing out. We do not use advertising cookies.
8. Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it within a reasonable period unless a longer retention is required by law. In the iOS app, open Accounts and tap Delete account to permanently remove your hosted account and associated content. You can also request deletion through support if you cannot access the app.
9. Security
We use technical and organizational measures — including encryption in transit, scoped access tokens, and revocable sessions — to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can update much of your information in the dashboard, or contact us to exercise these rights. We will not discriminate against you for exercising them.
11. International transfers
We may process and store information in countries other than where you live. Where we do, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers as required by applicable law.
12. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, notify you through the Service.
